Best of Missional Tribe

Missional TribeMissional Tribe is now four days old and there have been some great conversation in the forum and 21 Groups that have been formed. One hundred blogs have been created and a wealth of good stuff has been posted. Here is a sampling:

Missional: Is it Rocket Science?” Written by Erika Haub about the importance of story over theory. This is an important read because story is what we want Missional Tribe to be all about. Discussing the theory is great (and we that), but lets start sharing more real life stories about our incarnational involvement in the culture and place we have find ourselves.

Chris Goan from Scotland explores “Leadership in the New Context?” and has also formed a Group to delve into the points he makes.

Brad Sargent, one of Missional Tribes instigators and good friend of TallSkinnyKiwi, wrote a Profile of Andrew & Debbie Jones which makes interesting reading.

UMJeremy asks a good question in “Non-White Missionality?”

Missional Tribe also posted its first video, a conversation between Ed Stetzer and David Fitch on what they each mean by the term “missional,” attractional vs. missional, and whether missional people are “interested in converts.” It has been a huge hit. Part 2 is coming soon.

There is tons more, so if you haven’t joined the over 200 members of Missional Tribe yet, please come over and become involved. We need your voice and want to hear your story.
