Now Playing
Some time ago we were sharing the first 10 songs on our MP3 play list. I was introduced to a few really good tunes and many more that just didn’t ring this old Jesus freaks bell at all. I don’t recall sharing my play list, but as I sit here today getting caught up on work, I’m rocking out on the following:
Jesus Is Just Alright — The Doobie Brothers
One of Us — Joan Osborne
Let My Baby Ride — R.L. Burnside
Troubled So Hard — Paolo Nutini
Thunder On the Mountain — Bob Dylan
The Wanderer — U2 and Johnny Cash
Punish the Monkey — Mark Knopfler
A Minha Menina — Os Mutantes
Venus — Shocking Blue (Crank it up loud!)
Mercy Seat — Mike Roe
Workingman Blues #2 — Bob Dylan
Black Horse and the Cherry Tree — KT Tunstall
Some are just fun tunes to take the edge off life. Other are really meaningful.
This lets you know where my head is at, so got any songs you think I’d like?

Rick,
Download Neal Morse, “Sleeping Jesus.” Neal is one of my favorites - a refreshed version of 70s Progressive Rock. He is an incredible musician, vocals, keyboards, guitars. Check it out!
