Michael Frost on Missional Church
Australian Michael Frost talks about what it means to be the missional church, addressing the 2007 Presbyterian Global Fellowship Conference in Houston, Texas. The video is about 50 minutes long, but wow, it is well worth the time.

Glad you brought this to our attention. I just finished watching and it is definitely worth the effort and time to do so.
My only question is how they were able to upload to YouTube something that long? What’s the secret? My understanding is that max is around 10-minutes for a YouTube upload.
I really don’t know anything about YouTube Guy, so I have no idea how they got a 50 minute video posted to it. Maybe someone else knows and can share the wisdom.

Thank you for your writings and talk on Missional Church. This has a lot of meaning for me. This is how I have understood the Church, though have not followed this in its fullness. I was part of a team ministry in St.Mark’s Cathedral (Church of S.India in Bangalore, India) where we initiated the Industrial Mission and later the Urban Industrial Mission. Even though we went into industry, and into an urban slum situation to understand, be part of and initiate a community of people to continue the work of development, new kind leadership, etc., as far as the congregation was concerned, they were not so much involved, since it was mostly done by a few full time staff.
I am now 85 but active, and trying to bring together a group to think deeply about the ‘Missional Church’ model and how it can be brought to being in our situation.
By the way, my talks have been published by the National Council of Churches in India under the title, ‘Explorations in Being the Church in the World’.
Thank you again, and with best wishes,
Paul
